About the role
The University is seeking an Administrative Assistant for its Public Relations & Media Office. The role supports media and PR activities, creates content in Arabic and English, and helps promote the university’s image.
Key responsibilities
- Support execution of media and public relations initiatives to enhance the university’s visibility.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather information and media assets.
- Draft and prepare news releases, blog articles, and social media posts in Arabic and English.
- Manage and update university social media accounts in collaboration with the team.
- Assist in covering university events across various media platforms.
- Follow up on design and advertisement preparation with internal teams.
- Prepare periodic reports on campaigns and media activities.
- Coordinate with external entities and between Al Ain and Abu Dhabi campuses as needed.
- Ensure accuracy of all published content and maintain media archives.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in media or public relations.
- Strong writing skills in Arabic; English proficiency is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively within a team.
