Business Central Functional Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Business Central Functional Consultant to lead and support ERP implementations across multiple industry verticals. The role involves configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, designing financial workflows, and ensuring successful go‑live and post‑implementation support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Business Central implementation projects from requirements gathering to go‑live and post‑implementation support.
• Configure modules for SACCO, distribution, manufacturing, and NGO operations to meet specific business needs.
• Conduct fit‑gap analysis, design optimized business processes, and document workflows.
• Perform system testing, coordinate user acceptance testing, and ensure quality assurance.
• Set up and maintain financial management components such as General Ledger, AP/AR, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
• Design and implement industry‑specific solutions: loan management for SACCOs, inventory and logistics for distribution, production orders for manufacturing, and grant management for NGOs.
• Configure approval workflows, role‑based security, and user permissions.
• Deliver user training, create documentation, and provide ongoing functional support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, IT or a related field.
• CPA (Kenya) certification.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Experience across SACCO, distribution, manufacturing, or NGO sectors is preferred.
