Country Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Group for Transcultural Relations (GRT) is seeking a proactive Country Operations Coordinator to support the day‑to‑day implementation of its Kenya programme. Reporting to GRT headquarters, you will act as the main in‑country focal point for operational continuity, logistical coordination and procurement follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operational activities of the Kenya programme, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
• Maintain communication with donors, partners, consultants, authorities, suppliers and service providers.
• Track procurement processes, follow up on orders, and support logistical arrangements for staff and field activities.
• Provide administrative support to the country team, including documentation, reporting and record‑keeping.
• Liaise with GRT headquarters to align country‑level actions with strategic guidance and compliance requirements.
• Identify and resolve practical implementation challenges, escalating issues as needed.

Required profile

• Highly organised, solution‑oriented and reliable.
• Experience in coordinating operations or programmes within an NGO or international development context.
• Strong communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work under guidance from headquarters while managing in‑country tasks independently.
