Cybersecurity Consultant – Consulting Service Line

About the role

Join an international team of specialists delivering trusted cybersecurity solutions to clients across industries. You will help organisations manage complex cyber risks, improve maturity, and enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement security strategies and controls tailored to client needs.
• Advise senior stakeholders on cyber risk, translating technical issues into business impact.
• Facilitate workshops, support business development, and contribute to client engagements.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and enterprise‑wide security assessments.
• Apply red‑team techniques, Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, and cloud security best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, BBIT, or Software Engineering with a minimum B grade in KCSE and in English & Mathematics.
• 2‑6 years of experience in dynamic IT environments, including at least 1‑2 years in cybersecurity or cyber‑risk roles.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a commitment to integrity and continuous learning.

Required skills

• CISSP, CISM, CEH, GSEC, CDPSE, CompTIA Security+, GPEN, CCNA (or equivalent network certifications).
• Hands‑on experience with vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, red teaming, IAM, and cloud security.
