Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management

About the role

The Gregory School seeks a dynamic Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management to champion the school’s mission, attract mission‑aligned students, and ensure a smooth transition for new families. This full‑time, 12‑month position is a key member of the administrative team, reporting directly to the Head of School.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate the school’s vision, values, curriculum, and mission to prospective families.
• Promote independent school education within the Tucson community.
• Maintain deep knowledge of curriculum, developmental stages, and culture across all divisions.
• Build and sustain relationships based on honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
• Lead all admissions events, including tours, fairs, and parent gatherings.
• Oversee the entire admissions funnel from inquiry to enrollment and re‑enrollment.
• Collect, analyze, and apply enrollment data to shape the enrollment management plan.
• Guide staff in retention initiatives for current students.
• Stay current with best‑practice, data‑driven admissions strategies.
• Collaborate with Communications and Advancement on marketing and outreach.
• Prepare the annual admissions calendar, report to the Board, and manage the admissions budget.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum three years of experience in an admissions‑related role.
• Passion for working with a diverse student body.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Blackbaud.
• Experience using SSS (School Software Solutions).
• Strong command of Google Workspace.
• Ability to create materials in Canva.
