About the role
The United States Air Force is seeking a qualified Librarian to support library services for its civilian workforce. This position may include telework options and is subject to standard federal employment requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Perform library-related duties as assigned, supporting information needs of Air Force personnel.
Required profile
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Eligibility for telework may be authorized.
- Potential for Permanent Change of Station (PCS) travel in accordance with Joint Travel Regulations.
- Security clearance requirements based on the specific position.
- Subject to random drug testing and possible supervisory responsibilities.
- Probationary or trial period of 1‑3 years, with possible termination if certification is not received.
- Direct deposit is mandatory for all federal employees.
