English Language Teacher for 4‑year‑old in Nairobi

About the role

Global LT is seeking a native‑level English teacher to provide in‑person lessons for a 4‑year‑old learner in Nairobi. Classes are scheduled for early afternoons on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, focusing on fun, interactive activities that build confidence in speaking English.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age‑appropriate English lessons that align with the child’s interests (e.g., Disney, princesses, adventure stories).
• Design and adapt a customized curriculum to suit a beginner level and the learner’s goals.
• Track progress and provide feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Maintain a positive, professional relationship with the student and family.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• A degree or certification in language teaching, education, or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience teaching English to young learners.
• Availability for early‑afternoon sessions on Wednesdays after 2 pm, Thursdays after 3:30 pm, and Fridays after 3 pm.
