Head of MEP Business

About the role

Master Power Systems Limited (MPSL) is looking for an experienced Head of MEP Business to drive growth, delivery and financial performance of its MEP EPC operations across Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda. Reporting to the COO/MD, you will own the full commercial cycle from business development to cash collection.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional MEP business growth strategy covering residential, hospitality, retail, commercial, warehousing and institutional projects.
• Lead bid/no‑bid decisions, oversee technical and commercial tender preparation, and negotiate post‑tender contracts.
• Allocate awarded projects to project‑management clusters, ensure clear budgets, programmes and cost‑to‑complete forecasts.
• Monitor project performance against revenue, cost, schedule and cash targets, intervening early when thresholds are breached.
• Own the P&L of the MEP Business Unit, controlling material, labour and supervision costs to meet EBITDA and margin goals.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience (120 months) in MEP EPC business development, tendering and project delivery.
• Proven senior‑level leadership with strong commercial judgement and client‑management capability.
• Willingness to travel regularly to project sites and client offices across the three countries.
