HR Business Partner – East Africa

About the role

Viya Health Enterprise Ltd is seeking an HR Business Partner to support its operations across East Africa. Based in Nairobi, Kenya or Kampala, Uganda, the role will partner with business leaders to deliver HR services that drive organizational performance and employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the HR strategy aligned with Viya Health’s goals and regional objectives.
• Consult, advise, and coach managers on HR solutions, ensuring compliance with global, regional, and local policies.
• Lead workforce planning, job evaluation, recruitment, and onboarding for the East Africa region.
• Manage employee relations, performance management processes, and talent development initiatives.
• Oversee the administration of HR policies, procedures, guidelines, and tools.
• Monitor HR metrics, develop reports, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Relevant HR qualification or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in HR business partnering, preferably in a multi‑country environment.
• Strong knowledge of local labor legislation in Kenya and Uganda.
• Ability to influence and coach senior leaders on people‑related matters.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
