Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) – Technology Company Experience Required

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our technology-focused team in Nairobi. The role will drive talent strategy, support cross‑cultural collaboration, and ensure HR compliance within a fast‑growing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive talent management including planning, recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and career development.
• Establish talent development systems, performance and incentive mechanisms, and optimise the talent pipeline.
• Maintain employee relations, address concerns, and champion the company’s culture locally.
• Ensure HR operations comply with Kenyan labour laws and develop policies for compensation, benefits, attendance, and leave.
• Collaborate with local and international stakeholders in a multicultural setting.
• Handle administrative office tasks as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with strong English communication skills; Chinese language knowledge is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years as an HR Business Partner or similar role.
• Proven recruitment expertise and full‑cycle HR management knowledge.
• Extensive experience managing cross‑cultural teams, preferably within Chinese‑owned companies.
• Deep understanding of labour regulations, compensation & benefits design, and talent management strategies.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and intercultural abilities.
