Internship Program - Internal Audit, Tax, Accounting and Corporate Finance

About the role

Lattice Africa is offering a six‑month internship program in Nairobi that gives recent finance or accounting graduates hands‑on experience across internal audit, tax, accounting and corporate finance functions. The role combines structured training, mentorship and rotation through real client engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Rotate across internal audit, tax, accounting and corporate finance engagements to gain a broad understanding of Lattice’s advisory services.
• Support internal audit reviews, including testing of controls and preparing working papers.
• Assist with tax computations, statutory filings and research on tax matters.
• Perform day‑to‑day bookkeeping, invoice processing and contribute to financial reporting.
• Help build financial models, conduct business valuations and participate in due‑diligence engagements under supervision.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field; graduated within the last 2 years or awaiting graduation in 2026.
• Enrollment or completion of a professional certification such as CPA(K), ACCA or ACA.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• High level of integrity, curiosity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities.
