IT Support Specialist (Hospitality & Hotel)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide first‑line technical assistance for our restaurant and office environments in Nairobi. You will ensure that all IT equipment, POS systems and network infrastructure run smoothly to minimise business disruption.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line support for hardware, software and network issues across restaurant and office users.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot computers, POS terminals, printers, tablets, handheld devices and other IT equipment.
• Support daily operation of POS, payment terminals, kitchen display systems and ordering devices, including software updates and configuration.
• Monitor and maintain LAN, Wi‑Fi, routers, switches and internet connectivity; perform preventive maintenance.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and recording devices, retrieve footage for investigations and coordinate repairs with vendors.
• Maintain system documentation, equipment inventory and asset records; assist with data backup and basic cybersecurity practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• 1–2 years of IT support experience, preferably in food & beverage, retail or hospitality.
• Experience supporting POS systems and restaurant technologies.
