About the role
JHC Consulting is looking for a Junior Project Coordinator to support our principals as we expand our regional network across East Africa. This is a full‑time, permanent, fully remote position that focuses on the logistical flow of our advisory work and the accurate management of written records.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the administrative backbone of consulting engagements, tracking each written mandate from initial reading to final signed memorandum.
- Maintain project databases, ensure internal draft‑review deadlines are met, and prepare document templates for senior advisors.
- Organise background materials such as financial reports and board transcripts for strategic analysis.
- Verify that every claim in a document has a corresponding source in our files and handle version control.
Required profile
- Basic understanding of project‑management principles and tools (e.g., Notion, Excel, Trello).
- Ability to write clear, professional English without jargon.
- Background in business administration, law, humanities, or current study in a related field.
- Self‑discipline to manage a remote workload and extreme attention to detail.
- Comfort handling confidential information and capacity to work 40 hours per week during core business hours.
