LPG Area Sales Manager – Field Sales & Team Leadership

About the role

Sun King is seeking an experienced LPG Area Sales Manager to lead a network of sales agents in Nairobi’s Westlands district. You will drive the adoption of safe, affordable LPG solutions while ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and retain LPG sales agents, coaching them to achieve sales targets and high ARPU.
• Coordinate with operations to guarantee installations, exchanges, and services are completed within 24 hours.
• Manage stock levels of cylinders, stoves, and accessories, performing regular audits and addressing shortages.
• Support field teams in resolving customer issues promptly and conduct market activations, community outreach, and group sales initiatives.
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports covering sales, agent recruitment, asset loss, and operational challenges.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related field; degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of field sales experience, preferably in LPG, FMCG, micro‑finance, or telecom.
• Strong leadership, team‑building and operational management abilities.
• Self‑driven, process‑oriented and capable of working independently.
• Passion for clean energy and delivering affordable LPG solutions.
