Maintenance Supervisor – Hospitality Industry

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor will lead the planning, scheduling and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance across a hospitality facility. You will ensure that all building systems, equipment and installations operate safely and efficiently to support uninterrupted guest services.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance works.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, machinery, electrical, plumbing and mechanical installations.
• Coordinate emergency maintenance and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Allocate daily tasks to technicians, supervise staff and contractors, and provide technical guidance.
• Monitor performance of generators, pumps, HVAC, electrical, water and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service logs and equipment histories.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental and hospitality regulations.
• Prepare reports, track inventory and assist with budgeting for maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance within the hospitality or similar environment.
• Proven ability to lead a maintenance team and manage contractors.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance.
