About the role
The Monitoring & Evaluation Advisor will support Kenya’s national HIV and STI programmes, working closely with the Ministry of Health and key stakeholders to strengthen data collection, reporting and visualization.
Key responsibilities
- Map STI stakeholders at national and sub‑national levels.
- Review and identify gaps in existing STI data collection and reporting tools.
- Lead the design and implementation of new STI data collection and reporting tools.
- Assess the national STI M&E framework and pinpoint areas for improvement.
- Co‑design and institutionalise a robust national STI M&E framework, indicators and data visualisation solutions.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years experience supporting Kenya’s national HIV/STI programmes or Ministry of Health structures.
- Strong understanding of health‑system strengthening for HIV and STI prevention and care.
- Experience with donor‑funded government programmes.
- Master’s degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Health Informatics, Public Health or related field; clinical background is a plus.
