Paralegal – Full‑time Legal Support Role

About the role

Mbelete & Co Advocates is looking for a dedicated Paralegal to join its Athi River office. The role is on‑site and full‑time, supporting attorneys in litigation, dispute resolution and advisory work across commercial, civil, criminal defence and constitutional law.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings and briefs.
• Maintain and organise case files and documentation.
• Assist in trial preparation, evidence gathering and witness coordination.
• Facilitate communication between attorneys, clients and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies or a related field.
• Proven experience in legal document preparation and document review.
• Strong communication skills and professional client interaction.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Previous experience in a law firm or legal department is an asset.
