Product Manager / Product Owner – Financing Products

About the role

Mogo Kenya Limited is seeking a Product Manager / Product Owner to lead the end‑to‑end development and growth of its financing product suite. The role will own product design, pricing, eligibility, and the overall customer journey while driving acquisition and revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product lifecycle from design to pricing, terms, eligibility and economics; translate market insights into a prioritized roadmap.
• Scale issuance volumes and portfolio growth within budget and risk limits; develop new acquisition channels (digital, branch, partner, agent, referral) and improve conversion.
• Lead the product’s marketing strategy, create and execute campaigns across digital, social, print and in‑branch channels, and manage the marketing budget.
• Coordinate cross‑functional projects with IT, risk, credit, operations, sales and finance to enhance product presentation, sales funnel and operational efficiency.
• Define, monitor and act on KPIs for growth, acquisition, retention and profitability; run experiments and report performance to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, economics or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years experience in product management, product ownership or product marketing, preferably in financial services, fintech or lending.
• Proven record of growing a product, channel or P&L (sales, issuances or revenue).
• Experience managing marketing plans and campaigns across digital and offline channels.
• Strong analytical mindset with comfort using data and analytics tools.
