Quality & Hygiene Officer – North Coast

About the role

The Quality & Hygiene Officer will ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are consistently applied across the store’s operations on the North Coast. You will play a key part in delivering a best‑in‑class shopping experience by maintaining high quality and safety levels.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor internal quality standards throughout the store.
• Inspect food safety and hygiene practices, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate documentation to track quality and hygiene performance.
• Conduct annual audits and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure proper storage of fresh foods and verify that storage equipment meets health‑and‑safety requirements.
• Manage waste segregation, storage, and timely removal.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Public Health or a related field.
• Certification in food safety.
• 2‑4 years of experience in quality, hygiene or food‑safety roles within HORECA, government, food manufacturing or horticulture.
• Strong time‑management and communication abilities.
