Sales Director – Chinese Speaking (East/West Africa)

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven Sales Director who is fluent in Chinese to lead business development across East and West Africa for a technology company that provides identity management, smart transportation and digital transformation solutions. This individual contributor role will focus on government and public‑sector accounts, building pipelines and closing strategic deals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet annual revenue and order targets across Africa.
• Identify, qualify and pursue new opportunities with ministries, agencies, transportation authorities and other public‑sector organisations.
• Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with government decision‑makers, consultants, system integrators and ecosystem partners.
• Lead the full sales cycle from opportunity discovery through proposal development, bid response, commercial negotiation and contract award.
• Manage forecasting, pipeline reporting and sales activities using CRM tools.
• Monitor public‑sector procurement plans, tenders and digital transformation initiatives and represent the company in relevant industry bodies.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of sales experience, preferably in technology or digital solutions.
• Proven track record of selling to government and public‑sector clients in Africa.
• Strong network and deep understanding of government procurement processes.
• Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English.
• Excellent consultative selling and negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems for pipeline and forecast management.
