Sales Executive – FMCG Hygiene & Sanitary Products

About the role

Brites Management Services Limited is seeking energetic Sales Executives to drive growth of hygiene and sanitary products across Nairobi. The role is full‑time and focuses on both General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) channels, ensuring product availability, brand visibility and revenue targets are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.
• Identify, pursue and close new business opportunities in GT and MT channels.
• Maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, distributors, retailers, supermarkets and pharmacies.
• Negotiate shelf space, promotions and trade agreements, and monitor compliance with pricing structures.
• Conduct regular market visits, gather competitor intelligence and provide accurate sales reports and forecasts.
• Support retailers with product knowledge, merchandising, and in‑store activations.
• Handle customer queries, complaints and escalations to ensure high satisfaction.
• Coach and supervise junior sales staff where assigned, and assist with onboarding of new team members.
• Monitor stock rotation, manage credit limits and support timely collections.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience (approximately 5 years) in FMCG sales, preferably in hygiene or sanitary product categories.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with both GT and MT customers.
• Ability to analyse market data and translate insights into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
