Senior HR Manager (Senior HR Business Partner)

About the role

Precision Development (PxD) is seeking a senior HR professional to lead its people function across a dispersed, multicultural workforce. The Senior HR Manager will act as a strategic HR Business Partner, supporting senior leadership on change, workforce planning and safeguarding while ensuring compliance with employment law across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage employee‑relations casework end‑to‑end, providing guidance to line managers and ensuring proportional, policy‑aligned outcomes.
• Identify trends in ER cases and advise the COO on proactive organisational improvements.
• Serve as the primary coaching resource for managers, designing and delivering development programmes for a remote, multicultural team.
• Mentor staff at all levels, with a focus on remote employees who have limited access to structured development.
• Own and continuously develop PxD’s safeguarding framework, including case management, training delivery and policy creation.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience as a senior HR generalist or HR Business Partner, preferably within an international NGO or development sector.
• Proven track record managing employee‑relations cases from inception to resolution.
• Experience acting as a Designated Safeguarding Lead or in a comparable senior safeguarding role.
• Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities for managers and staff across dispersed locations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently across time zones.
