About the role
The Senior Investment Dealer will lead market execution, portfolio optimisation, trading strategy and liquidity management for Absa Asset Management in Kenya. This role combines market analysis, investment idea generation and counter‑party management to translate market developments into actionable trading strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Lead investment execution, liquidity management and portfolio rebalancing across Kenyan asset classes.
- Develop trading strategies and investment ideas for committee consideration.
- Manage counter‑party relationships and ensure effective risk controls.
- Mentor junior dealers and coordinate with front‑, middle‑ and back‑office teams.
Required profile
- Relevant finance, commerce or actuarial degree.
- At least five years of experience in investment analysis, dealing or a related field.
- CISI or ICIFA qualification; CFA, CPA or CAIA is advantageous.
