Senior Travel Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Travel Consultant to join our team in Nairobi. You will guide clients through travel options, create tailored itineraries and ensure seamless booking experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on destinations, travel options and itineraries.
• Book flights, hotels, transfers, tours and travel insurance.
• Prepare quotations, process payments and issue air tickets.
• Manage travel documentation, visa and passport requirements.
• Handle changes, cancellations and respond to customer inquiries.
• Maintain accurate booking records and client files.
• Build and nurture relationships with clients and suppliers.
• Promote travel products, meet sales targets and stay updated on industry trends.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Tourism, Travel Management, Hospitality or related field.
• Minimum 48 months of experience in travel consulting or sales.
• Strong customer service, communication and sales abilities.
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and travel booking systems.

Required skills

• Experience with GDS systems such as Amadeus or Galileo.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite.
