Travel Consultant – GDS Ticketing Specialist

About the role

Our client in the tourism sector seeks a motivated Travel Consultant to join a dynamic team. This mid‑level position offers the chance to deepen expertise in travel booking systems while delivering high‑quality service to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate travel quotations and manage changes or cancellations.
• Perform day‑to‑day GDS ticketing and bookings using Galileo and Travelport platforms.
• Ensure all required documentation—visas, permits, insurance, contracts—is correctly processed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, airlines, guides, transport providers and other suppliers.
• Maintain internal reporting systems, logging every booking with precision.
• Collaborate across departments to provide seamless client experiences.

Required profile

• Diploma in Tourism Management, Tours and Travel or an equivalent qualification.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on GDS experience, specifically with Galileo or Travelport.
• Customer‑focused attitude with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Strong collaboration skills and proven ability to work across teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
