Virtual Sales Team Lead – Healthcare

About the role

The Virtual Sales Team Lead – Healthcare will manage a fully remote sales team focused on the Kenyan healthcare market. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and ensuring high performance through digital tools and virtual collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and motivate a virtual healthcare sales team to meet individual and departmental targets.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase revenue and market penetration.
• Manage the sales pipeline, track performance via CRM dashboards, and produce regular forecasts and reports.
• Conduct virtual coaching sessions, performance reviews and team meetings.
• Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, laboratories and other healthcare stakeholders through virtual and occasional in‑person engagements.
• Identify new business opportunities, oversee client presentations, product demos, negotiations and proposal development.
• Collaborate with marketing, clinical, customer support and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Recruit, onboard and train new sales representatives while ensuring compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Sciences or a related healthcare field.
• At least five years of experience in healthcare sales, with a proven record of leading virtual or geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong understanding of the Kenyan healthcare market and its regulatory environment.

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Experience using digital sales tools and virtual meeting platforms.
