Waiter – 4‑Star Hotel in Nairobi

About the role

We are seeking a professional Waiter to join the front‑of‑house team of a prestigious 4‑star hotel in Nairobi. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless dining experience throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Courteously greet and seat guests in the restaurant and other dining areas.
• Take orders, suggest menu items, and assist guests in making informed choices.
• Coordinate continuously with kitchen, bar, and other hotel departments to deliver timely service.
• Inform guests about additional hotel services and amenities beyond food and beverage.
• Process bills accurately and explain payment procedures.
• Collect guest feedback to support continuous service improvement.

Required profile

• O’ Level Certificate.
• Certificate in Food and Beverage Sales & Service from a recognized college.
• Well‑groomed appearance with strong customer service orientation.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar waiter or front‑of‑house role.
