Waiter/Waitress – Full-time Hospitality Role

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Waiter/Waitress to join our team at The Social House in Nairobi’s Westlands district. This full-time position involves delivering high-quality service to guests in a vibrant restaurant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, present menus and provide attentive, friendly service.
• Take orders accurately, recommend menu items and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to guarantee smooth order flow.
• Maintain clean and well-presented dining areas throughout service.
• Handle guest requests, feedback and concerns professionally.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene and service standards at all times.

Required profile

• Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality or Food & Beverage Service.
• Minimum two years’ experience in a reputable restaurant or 4/5-star hotel.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Detail-oriented, able to work under pressure and flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
