Window 3 Advisor – Women's Integrated Sexual Health (WISH)

About the role

The Window 3 Technical Assistance Advisor will lead the emerging Window 3 mechanism for the Women’s Integrated Sexual Health (WISH) – Policy & Systems programme. The role focuses on demographic transition‑focused technical assistance, helping governments turn demographic data into actionable planning and budgeting tools.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and oversight for Window 3 delivery across seven African countries.
• Design and implement decision‑ready tools that translate demographic insights into policy‑relevant outputs.
• Collaborate with FCDO and government partners to identify TA needs, draft scopes of work, and ensure high‑impact delivery.
• Build government capacity to use demographic evidence for budgeting and strategic planning.
• Strengthen institutional ownership of population agendas and monitor the quality of TA activities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in demographic transition or population‑related technical assistance.
• Proven ability to work with multi‑country programmes and government stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills for converting data into policy‑ready tools.
• Experience in designing and overseeing TA interventions in the SRHR sector.
