Class Action Matter Writer

About the role

We are seeking a Class Action Matter Writer to join our Nairobi legal team. In this position you will support complex litigation matters by conducting research, drafting documents, and managing case files in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, and related case materials.
• Conduct legal research and analyze facts relevant to ongoing class actions.
• Support litigation and case preparation activities, ensuring timely filings.
• Review documentation for accuracy, quality, and compliance.
• Organize and maintain case files and supporting evidence.
• Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to meet strict deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in legal drafting, litigation support, research, or case management.
• Advanced written and verbal English communication (C1 level preferred).
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience in a law firm or legal services environment is highly preferred.
