Fraud Risk Manager

About the role

The Fraud Risk Manager will lead the planning, execution and monitoring of forensic activities across the bank, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role is pivotal in protecting the organisation from fraud losses and strengthening its risk framework.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct fraud risk assessments across products, channels, processes and systems, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending controls.
• Monitor fraud trends, losses, emerging threats and key risk indicators, and ensure timely reporting of fraud events.
• Review and challenge the effectiveness of fraud controls, track remediation of findings and audit issues to closure.
• Maintain and adjust fraud detection rules, parameters and control performance.
• Prepare fraud risk dashboards, management information and governance reports for senior management and regulators.
• Support the development and execution of the Fraud Risk Management Strategy and drive initiatives to reduce fraud losses.
• Coordinate fraud awareness programmes for employees and customers.
• Partner with Business, Operations, Technology, Compliance and Risk teams to provide fraud risk advisory and support regulatory reviews, audits and assurance activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a fraud or risk role within a financial institution.
• Experience in investigations, analytics and project management.
