Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

Accelera Digital Group is seeking a passionate Full‑Stack Software Engineer to design, build and deploy resilient web applications for a diverse client base in Nairobi.

Key responsibilities

• Independently design and implement scalable front‑end and back‑end solutions, including APIs and data storage.
• Apply expert knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular) and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, OCI, Azure) to deliver production‑ready software.
• Champion clean code, comprehensive testing, security and CI/CD practices to maintain an always‑shippable product.
• Translate complex business requirements into intuitive user experiences.
• Architect modular, reusable components and frameworks for rapid client customization.
• Lead prototyping of advanced features such as real‑time data integration and highly interactive UIs.
• Utilise AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code) to accelerate development while ensuring human oversight where needed.
• Collaborate with product, UX/UI and business stakeholders to define and deliver end‑to‑end solutions.

Required profile

• Expert‑level proficiency in a modern front‑end framework (React/ReactNative) and a back‑end environment (Node.js/Express, Java Spring Boot, Python, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience architecting and deploying on a major cloud platform with CI/CD, monitoring and containerisation (Docker).
• Strong track record of delivering applications from concept to production with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Ability to solve ambiguous business problems and communicate technical decisions to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Team‑oriented mindset, proactive communication and a bias for fast, self‑directed learning.
