Medical Representative (Med Rep)

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Medical Representative based in Baba Dogo. The role centres on promoting and selling pharmaceutical and medical products to pharmacies, hospitals, clinics and healthcare professionals, while building strong customer relationships and growing the company's market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell products to pharmacies, hospitals, clinics and healthcare professionals, and pursue new business through regular customer visits and lead follow-up.
• Develop territory sales plans to meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Present product features, benefits, applications and approved usage, and keep up to date with product updates and market developments.
• Build relationships with doctors, pharmacists, nurses, procurement teams and hospital administrators, and handle inquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.
• Research potential customers and competitors, gather market intelligence and communicate it to management.
• Plan daily customer visits, develop existing accounts and maintain an updated customer database.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly sales reports, keep sales records and work with sales and operations teams on orders and deliveries.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Health Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medical Sciences, Nursing or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical product sales, including in a target-driven sales environment.
• Good technical knowledge of pharmaceutical and medical products and their applications.
• Good communication, presentation, sales and customer relationship management skills.
• Added advantage: knowledge of the pharmaceutical/healthcare market in Nairobi.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic reporting tools is an added advantage.
