Head of Commercial Capability

About the role

Lead the regional strategy, standards and capability agenda for Commercial Sales & Customer competencies, ensuring EABL builds world‑class commercial capability that drives sustainable growth, customer value and market execution excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain a multi‑year regional commercial capability strategy aligned to business growth ambitions.
• Own commercial capability frameworks and standards covering sales, customer development, distributor management, route‑to‑market and execution excellence.
• Design regional curricula, learning pathways and capability journeys for key commercial populations.
• Identify future commercial skills needed for digital commerce, data‑led decision making and emerging customer trends.
• Establish governance processes, capability scorecards and reporting frameworks to monitor maturity.
• Analyze capability performance data to drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across markets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Finance, Business, Commercial, Legal, Operations or related discipline.
• Broad commercial and customer‑operations understanding with experience translating topics such as pricing, cash collection, order‑to‑cash and digital tools into clear learning outcomes.
• Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end learning programmes across multiple markets, including needs analysis, curriculum design, facilitation and certification.
• Consultative delivery track record: diagnosing problems, securing senior stakeholder commitment and driving business change.

Required skills

• Experience with CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) tools.
• Familiarity with Trace‑type tooling and global learning platforms.
• Instructional design and learning‑management‑system expertise.
• Data analytics and digital commerce platform knowledge.
