A Level Geography Tutor

About the role

TestPrep is seeking an experienced A Level Geography Tutor to join its international online teaching team. You will deliver one‑to‑one lessons to students preparing for a range of A Level and International A Level examinations, adapting content to each board’s specification.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct 90‑minute one‑to‑one online Geography lessons for international students.
• Teach both Physical and Human Geography at A Level standard.
• Tailor lessons to the student’s examination board (Pearson Edexcel, Cambridge International, Oxford AQA, etc.).
• Prepare students using syllabus‑specific material, past papers and official mark schemes.
• Develop skills in data interpretation, geographical analysis, extended responses and essay writing.
• Teach examination techniques, assessment objectives and examiner expectations.
• Identify individual weaknesses, create focused study plans and provide structured feedback.

Required profile

• Substantial experience teaching A Level / International A Level Geography.
• Specific experience with Pearson Edexcel Geography.
• Familiarity with other major international A Level boards.
• Strong knowledge of current specifications, assessment objectives and marking criteria.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Experience preparing students for A Level examinations using past papers and mark schemes.
• Preference for experience with international learners.
• Reliable internet connection and a professional online teaching environment.
