Accounts Receivable Manager – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a remote Accounts Receivable Manager to lead the revenue and collections function for a global software development leader. The role will ensure timely invoicing, accurate revenue recognition and healthy cash flow while collaborating with sales, client success and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and enforce accounts receivable policies and procedures to streamline invoicing and collections.
• Monitor aging reports, pursue overdue balances and implement strategies to reduce revenue loss.
• Work closely with sales, client success and finance to resolve billing discrepancies and improve cash flow.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP revenue recognition standards and ensure accurate financial records.
• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in revenue accounting or accounts receivable management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex financial information to non‑financial audiences.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, especially NetSuite or comparable platforms.
• Knowledge of GAAP revenue recognition standards and financial reporting.
