Bookkeeper & Accounting Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper & Accounting Specialist to handle the full spectrum of financial transactions for our external client portfolio. The role is fully remote and ideal for professionals who have supported small to medium‑sized businesses and are comfortable working with international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Record and categorize daily financial transactions accurately.
• Manage the complete bookkeeping cycle, including invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organized digital records and support payroll processing.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist the accounting team with audits, reviews, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and accounting standards while maintaining confidentiality.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Assistant, or Accounting Specialist.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures.
• Experience managing financial records for small to medium‑sized businesses.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

• QuickBooks (or similar accounting platform).
• Xero (or similar accounting platform).
• Microsoft Excel.
• Google Sheets.
