Branch Supervisor - Student Recruitment

About the role

An education and training organisation operating in Nairobi and Eldoret, which offers student recruitment services as well as ICT and AI training programmes, is looking for an experienced Branch Supervisor for its Eldoret branch. The role provides on-site leadership, drives business development and oversees day-to-day operations of a branch at an important stage of development. It suits an experienced professional who can work independently, take ownership and drive performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations and administration of the branch, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Provide leadership, direction and performance management to branch staff.
• Oversee the student recruitment process, including follow-up, customer engagement and conversion.
• Drive business development and sales to generate revenue and expand the client and student base.
• Identify and develop partnerships with schools, institutions, community organisations and other stakeholders in the region.
• Build and maintain relationships with local partners and networks.
• Identify new market opportunities and strategies to increase visibility, enrolment and revenue.
• Monitor performance against targets and report regularly to management.
• Address operational issues promptly and represent the organisation professionally in the Eldoret market.

Required profile

• 5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in operations management, business development, sales and/or student recruitment.
• Demonstrated experience managing teams and overseeing day-to-day operations.
• Experience building relationships with schools, institutions, community networks or strategic partners.
• Good understanding of the local market is an advantage; knowledge of the local dialect and community networks is an added advantage.

• Ability to work independently, take ownership and make sound decisions in a developing business.
• Commercial mindset and ability to achieve revenue targets.
