Business Development Manager – Sales & Market Growth

About the role

Miotronics is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead sales strategy, expand accounts and drive revenue for its telematics, remote monitoring and asset intelligence solutions in Kenya.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a market‑growth strategy, set revenue targets and expand into new sectors.
• Identify, qualify and close new opportunities across the full sales pipeline.
• Own revenue growth, forecasting and conversion of qualified leads into long‑term customers.
• Lead high‑value enterprise sales including presentations, proposals, tenders and negotiations.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships, alliances, distributors and channel opportunities.
• Coach and manage the business development team, set targets and review performance.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis and report on pipeline and KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Economics, Engineering, Technology or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in business development, B2B sales or account management.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets.
• Strong understanding of the Kenyan business environment and enterprise client needs.
• Ability to lead teams, manage multiple opportunities and work independently.

Required skills

• Expertise in managing sales pipelines and CRM systems.
• Advanced negotiation, proposal and contract‑closing skills.
• Experience with strategic partnership development and key‑account management.
