Business Development Representative (Outbound Sales)

About the role
We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join an outbound sales pod serving US and UK B2B clients. You will be the first voice prospects hear, driving top‑of‑funnel activity and delivering qualified meetings for Account Executives.
Key responsibilities
- Make 80‑120 cold calls daily using a triple‑dial cadence and proven opening frameworks.
- Design and execute multi‑channel outreach sequences across phone, email, LinkedIn and video.
- Research target accounts, identify decision‑makers and personalize outreach.
- Qualify prospects against client criteria (pain, fit, timing, authority, budget).
- Schedule qualified discovery meetings, brief Account Executives and ensure clean CRM hygiene.
- Meet weekly activity, conversation, meeting‑set and meeting‑held targets and report results daily.
- Handle objections in real time using internal training frameworks.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years experience in an outbound role such as BDR, SDR, appointment setter or outbound AE.
- Proven track record prospecting into the US or UK market with fluent English and an international accent.
- Hands‑on experience with a CRM (HubSpot preferred; Salesforce, Pipedrive or Close.io acceptable).
- Comfortable conducting 7‑minute discovery calls and delivering high meeting‑held rates.
- Strong written communication able to craft effective cold emails.
