Business Growth and Development Manager – Githurai Branch

About the role

The Business Growth and Development Manager will lead the Githurai branch in achieving strategic growth, profitability and market presence. You will oversee sales, marketing, operations and compliance while building strong relationships with customers, community and government.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement branch business initiatives and turnaround strategies aligned with Faulu’s overall objectives.
• Lead business growth across the branch, agencies and alternative service outlets, driving sales of all products and services.
• Manage brand visibility and marketing activities, acting as the key liaison with the community.
• Lead, coach and develop the branch team, set performance targets and ensure succession planning.
• Oversee cost management, budgeting and financial performance monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with Central Bank of Kenya guidelines, internal policies, health and safety, and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in financial services, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record in sales, business growth and credit/lending operations.
• Experience in micro‑finance institutions or similar financial institutions is an advantage.
