Call Center Officer – Debt Collection

About the role

The Call Center Officer will manage overdue customer accounts for Finley International Ltd, Kenya’s leading credit management firm. You will be the primary point of contact for clients facing financial difficulties, helping them understand repayment options while safeguarding the company’s cash flow and reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and update customer details received from clients to ensure accurate records.
• Contact customers by phone, email, or scheduled visits to discuss defaulted accounts and repayment plans.
• Explain the consequences of non‑payment and negotiate mutually acceptable repayment schedules.
• Act as an impartial intermediary when disputes arise, gathering evidence and coordinating with relevant parties.
• Maintain detailed logs of all interactions and outcomes in the company’s contact management system.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 12 months of experience in customer service, collections, or related field.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information with professionalism.
