About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Chef to join our team in Kisumu, responsible for preparing daily Chinese meals for our resident staff. The role requires maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene, ensuring a reliable food supply, and managing inventory with integrity.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook nutritious Chinese meals each day, controlling portions and ensuring consistent food supply.
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen, cooking utensils, and dining areas on a daily basis.
- Oversee kitchen inventory, monitor stock levels, and prevent waste or unauthorized removal of supplies.
Required profile
- Open to candidates of any experience level; prior experience with Chinese cuisine or expatriate staff is a strong plus.
- Exceptional personal hygiene and a high degree of integrity.
- Strong organizational skills and a reliable work ethic.
