Claims Associate Representative – Entry Level

About the role

The Claims Associate Representative provides administrative and technical support for processing partner claim data. This entry‑level position ensures data accuracy, follows standard operating procedures, and escalates issues as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Run, prepare and categorize weekly reports, sorting lines by error code and updating business‑as‑usual trackers.
• Correct basic data issues in the policy administration system (member numbers, procedure codes, diagnosis codes, service dates, partner IDs, net/billed amounts) using defined SOP steps.
• Follow rule‑based instructions for each error category, applying fixes or routing items to IT when required.
• Escalate complex cases to the Supervisor and raise IT tickets for duplicate closures, forced claim loads, or invalid data corrections.
• Maintain accurate documentation, add standard claim comments, and ensure reports and logs are archived per SOP.

Required profile

• Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on data integrity.
• Ability to follow structured, step‑by‑step procedures without deviation.
• Basic Excel skills (sorting, filtering, adding columns, structuring tabs) and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational skills to manage repetitive tasks efficiently.
