Copywriter

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Copywriter based in Nairobi CBD. The role covers writing persuasive copy for marketing campaigns, social media, websites and other promotional materials, working closely with marketing, sales and design teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative copy for marketing campaigns, advertisements, brochures, flyers, newsletters and other promotional materials.
• Write social media content aligned with the brand's voice and marketing objectives.
• Create website content, landing pages, blog articles, product descriptions and email marketing copy.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales and design teams on integrated campaigns and communication materials.
• Research industry trends, products, competitors and customer needs to produce relevant content.
• Proofread, edit and revise content for grammar, clarity, consistency and brand guidelines.
• Develop campaign concepts, slogans, headlines and calls to action, and optimize digital content with SEO best practices.
• Track content performance metrics and recommend improvements.
• Support employer branding and recruitment content, and assist with video, radio and presentation scripts.
• Maintain a content calendar and deliver projects on time.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Public Relations, Journalism, Communication, Marketing or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Copywriter, Content Writer or in a similar role.
• Strong research, storytelling and organizational skills, able to handle several projects at once.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, creativity and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Familiarity with digital marketing and social media content creation.
• Basic understanding of SEO and content optimization is an added advantage.
