Data Entry & Monitoring Clerk – Security (Nairobi)

About the role

Our client, a specialist risk management and consultancy firm operating across Kenya, is looking for a Data Entry & Monitoring Clerk to support its 24/7 operations. The role involves monitoring operational systems, identifying and escalating incidents, maintaining accurate data, and ensuring timely information flow to clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor operational and tracking systems, identify incidents or potential risks, and prepare clear alerts for escalation.
• Collate, process and analyse information to support daily operational reports and updates.
• Maintain oversight of tracking platforms and electronic systems used within the Operations Centre.
• Enter, update and maintain accurate data in Excel spreadsheets, databases and other operational systems.
• Handle incoming calls and client enquiries professionally, directing them to appropriate personnel.
• Support 24/7 client operations by relaying incidents, information requests and updates to relevant authorities or stakeholders.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of client and operational information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in computer studies or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and other Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Kiswahili.
• Ability to work variable shifts as part of a 24/7 operation.
