Digital Marketing Manager

About the role

The Digital Marketing Manager will design and execute digital strategies that boost brand awareness, grow online communities, generate leads and drive user acquisition for Suqafuran, Kenya’s preferred online marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run digital campaigns across Google, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and other channels.
• Manage paid advertising to maximise reach and ROI while continuously optimising performance.
• Create engaging social‑media content, graphics and videos and grow community interaction.
• Design initiatives to increase seller and buyer registrations, website traffic, app downloads and active usage.
• Monitor metrics such as traffic, conversions, CAC and ROAS, and produce regular performance reports.
• Collaborate with sales, product and support teams and build partnerships with influencers and business associations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Digital Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in digital marketing or brand management, preferably in e‑commerce or online marketplaces.
• Strong understanding of digital advertising, social media marketing, SEO, email marketing and content creation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Google Analytics.
• Proficiency in Meta Business Suite.
• Proficiency in Google Ads.
