Driver for NGO Transport and Logistics

About the role
The driver will ensure safe, timely, and efficient transportation of staff, beneficiaries, and goods for RefuSHE in Nairobi. The role supports field activities, logistics, and compliance with traffic and organisational policies.
Key responsibilities
- Transport staff, visitors, beneficiaries and deliver supplies to designated locations while adhering to schedules.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections, record mileage and fuel consumption, and coordinate repairs or servicing.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, keep logbooks up‑to‑date, and report any accidents or incidents immediately.
- Support loading and unloading of equipment, assist with procurement deliveries, and provide logistical help during events and field trips.
Required profile
- Valid Kenyan driving licence (Class BCE) and Certificate of Good Conduct.
- Minimum 5 years driving experience, preferably in NGO or corporate settings.
- Knowledge of Nairobi and regional routes and basic mechanical aptitude.
Required skills
- Defensive driving certification (preferred).
- Basic mechanical skills for minor vehicle checks.
