English Teacher – Upper Primary & Junior School

About the role

Pharo Schools is preparing for the 2027 academic year and seeks qualified, passionate English teachers for Upper Primary and Junior School levels in Nairobi. The role is full‑time, student‑centred and involves delivering a child‑focused curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to diverse learner needs.
• Participate actively in co‑curricular and social support programmes.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback through assessments, tests and exercises.
• Maintain accurate learner records and progress reports.
• Collaborate with the Head of Department and Senior Teacher to address learner challenges.
• Adhere to child safeguarding guidelines and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Education (or equivalent) with a valid TSC registration.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience at the specific level applied for.
• Strong understanding of the CBC curriculum.
• Proficiency in computer applications and digital skills.
• Active involvement in extra‑curricular activities is an advantage.
