Environmental Health & Safety Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our manufacturing team. You will ensure compliance with all relevant EHS regulations, promote a safe workplace, and support our sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety laws and regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate EHS risks.
• Develop, implement, and update EHS policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Investigate incidents and near‑misses, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead employee training and awareness programs on EHS best practices.
• Prepare and submit EHS reports to management and regulatory bodies.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct periodic drills.
• Continuously monitor and improve EHS performance metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of EHS regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
